The rising, Manchester-based indie-rock group “Picture Parlour” started its musical journey in 2021 regularly performing at multiple London pubs like “The Windmill” which is known as one of the top places for rising stars to perform in the whole United Kingdom. They received their first taste of success in the summer of 2023 after releasing their debut single “Norwegian Wood” which quickly gained popularity and even comparisons to the likes of “The Arctic Monkeys” and even Amy Winehouse. Their second single “Judgement Day” was published in October of 2023. It rapidly increased their status in the music industry as one of the top newcomers in the indie-rock genre. The band has opened for Bruce Springsteen, Noel Gallagher, and “The Kills” during their European tour as well as done multiple solo shows in the UK, France, and Netherlands. This will be their first visit to Riga but not their last.
