FAQ ABOUT ENTRY TO THE FESTIVAL

IS IT POSSIBLE TO PURCHASE POSITIVUS FESTIVAL TICKETS AT THE FESTIVAL ENTRANCE?
Yes, Positivus festival tickets can be purchased at the festival entrance either by cash or card.

WILL THERE BE ENTRY WRISTBANDS THIS YEAR?
We are skipping the traditional fabric wristbands this year. If you plan to stay inside the festival area all day, you won’t need a wristband.

HOW WILL ENTRY TO THE POSITIVUS FESTIVAL WORK THIS YEAR?
This year, entering the festival will work just like at large concerts – simply scan your ticket at the entrance. If you’re staying inside the venue all day, there’s no need to collect a wristband.

WHAT IF I HAVE A VIP TICKET – HOW DO I ENTER?
Use the VIP entrance. After scanning your ticket, you’ll receive a special wristband that grants access to both the festival grounds and the VIP area.

DO I NEED TO SCAN MY TWO-DAY TICKET ON BOTH DAYS?
Yes, two-day tickets will be scanned once on Friday and once on Saturday, when you enter the festival.

WHAT IF I WANT TO LEAVE THE FESTIVAL AREA AND COME BACK LATER?
At the exit, you can request a paper wristband that will allow you to re-enter the same day. These wristbands will only be given to those who intend to return.

CAN ANY VISITOR RECEIVE A PAPER WRISTBAND?
No, paper wristbands will only be issued to those who leave the area during the day and plan to return.

WHAT IF MY PAPER WRISTBAND BREAKS, GETS DAMAGED, TORN OFF OR LOST WHILE I’M OUTSIDE THE FESTIVAL AREA?
You will not be allowed to re-enter the festival without a valid wristband. If you plan to return later, treat your wristband carefully to avoid damage or loss.

DO I NEED TO PRINT MY TICKET OR INVITATION, OR CAN I JUST SHOW IT ON MY PHONE?
You do not need to print it – you can show the ticket on your phone. Just make sure the barcode is clearly visible and readable on your screen. Both printed and digital tickets are accepted for entry (e.g., a PDF on your phone or a ticket added to Apple Wallet).

WHAT IF MY PHONE BATTERY DIES OR THE INTERNET CONNECTION IS POOR AND I CAN’T LOAD MY TICKET?

To avoid any unpleasant surprises, we strongly recommend downloading and saving your ticket or invitation on your phone in advance. If your battery tends to die quickly, bring a printed copy just in case. Unfortunately, if your phone runs out of battery and you don’t have a printed version, you won’t be able to enter the festival.

If you encounter any issues with your ticket or have questions, head to the Positivus Welcome Office located near the festival entrance.

AM I ALLOWED TO TAKE PHOTO AND VIDEO EQUIPMENT TO THE POSITIVUS FESTIVAL SITE?
You are not allowed to take professional video and photo cameras (those with changeable lenses and objectives) on site. Only accredited media individuals, who have obtained media accreditation from the Positivus festival Media office, are allowed to use professional video and photo equipment.

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING MY OWN FOOD/DRINKS TO THE POSITIVUS FESTIVAL SITE?
You are NOT allowed to bring any food or drinks into the Positivus festival site.

WILL IT BE POSSIBLE TO PAY BY CARD ON THE POSITIVUS FESTIVAL PREMISES?
Card payments will only be accepted in selected areas.

WHAT CAN I DO IN CASE OF INJURY OR ILLNESS DURING THE POSITIVUS FESTIVAL?
Between the main stage and the food court, there will be a Latvian Red Cross station where you can receive first aid. Near the festival entrance, there will also be a medical point staffed by professional medics providing wound care and emergency medical assistance.

WHERE CAN I CHECK FOR LOST AND FOUND ITEMS?
You can hand in found things or check for lost items at the Info tent located near the main entrance to the Positivus festival site. After the Positivus festival, the lost and found items will be stored with The State Police of Latvia for a certain period of time.
